DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF MOUNTAIN (APPROXIMATE GUIDELINE)

Depending on the difficulty of the mountain, the amount of time required for the guide and more per day will vary. On some mountains it takes about 5 hours, and on others it takes about 7 to 10 hours a day. There are also some very difficult mountains where guides are forced to be extremely nervous to avoid slipping down.

The difficulty level is complied with Nagano Prefecture's "Grading of Mt. Shinshu".
